Who We Are

Estate Planning

For many, the term estate or estate planning brings up visions of complex trusts, attorneys, and large legal fees. However, when looking at the need to plan for one’s estate it is first important to determine the basics. Will my assets avoid probate? On my passing will assets go to the right people? If I am incapacitated who will make decisions for me? Many of these answers come from the implementation of a basic will, health care directive, and power of attorney. These documents often ease the minds of those that have taken the proper steps to create them. Though we are not attorneys we have access to numerous attorneys in Texas to meet our clients’ needs. However, if you already have an attorney we will work with them to implement your estate plan.

While reviewing this aspect of the financial plan it will be important to review the ever changing political climate and the affects such an environment has on taxes and the estate planning process.

Whether it is the titling of assets, gifting strategies or the efficient utilization of trusts, we will help quarterback the process to fashion an estate plan that is in harmony with your overall financial objectives.
